What is the RP style?

I know different sites have different styles of RP... which one are we suppose to use? Do we free for all? Is there a criteria?

I'm pretty sure this site has a favor-style.
Just don't post something like -takes a drink.- add some of your personal taste like this:
Magi's fingers curled around the handle of the teacup. Lifting the teacup, his left pinkie extended as the rim of the cup touched his lips. He tipped the cup forward letting the hot liquid rush into his mouth and down his throat. (or something like that).

It also depends of what type of RP (basic, long-term or advanced):

Basic - 3-5 sentences should be okay - extensive vocabulary shouldn't be necessary.
Long-term - 5-8 sentences - extensive vocabulary should be half-half in here.
Advanced - Paragraphs if you want. - extensive vocabulary is very wanted in this section.

By extensive vocabulary I mean, using different words that mean the plain idea. An example is if you use the word "eyes" in basic/long-term then in advanced you use the word "optics" to mean eyes. It also depends on the rp-starter...what he/she wants.
