Introduction
So you are looking to fight someone? Well, as we all know every fight needs a clear winner, and a clear loser. This system I designed for a Fallout Rp I had a while back, I hope it works rather good for all of you. If you have no idea what I am talking about below, please PM me and I can provide more information. Keep in mind you can edit the equation a little, for example, instead of Attack and Defense, you can use your MP and HP in their places - etc. Allow me to explain;
Cheating
Absolutely Do Not:
1. Modifying a post – Yes, we can see if you edited a post
2. Not following the formulas correctly
We are mainly concerned with number one. Keep if fair for you and your opponent, do not go in and click the attack button until you get a 93% or something, it’s not fair.
3. God Mod your oponent, all rules for the site comply to the battle ground as well.
How do you set up a battle?
You follow this format:
____________ vs. ____________
Number of attack posts: ______ minimum of FIVE
Description of location: _____________________ Optional
Where can you find the attack UBBC button?
You can find the button in the formal reply, which is located at the bottom and top of each threads first and last post of the page. This is not the large box at the bottom of the thread, that is called the quick reply.
Why doesn’t the code work in quick reply?
It’s simply the way the code is designed. The code is put in the global footers to randomly generate a percentage from the formal reply screen. Therefore the quick reply will not be able to generate an attack code of any kind. Reminder, you cannot just put attack in brackets, it still will not generate correctly for you.
Who Wins the Battle?
This part can get a little tricky if you don’t know much about percents. You and your opponent are going to post in the thread at least 5 times. Each post you make has to have a detailed description of your battle, otherwise it would just be the attack rate percentage bar and that wouldn’t be very interesting. For every time you post you are going to put the Attack UBBC, which is the image of a gun on the list of formatting options. (keep in mind you can only get this code to work if you click it inside of a formal reply, simply typing attack in brackets is not going to work.
AFTER all of your posts are finished in the battle, (Note you must predefine how many posts it will be before you start posting so it is fair) you will create one final post for yourself. (And your opponent will create one for themselves). In this final post you are going to tally up your points….
Equation: Your attack # + Defense # / Percent of attack = Points Received
Then take your points received - your partners defense.
You have to do that for every one of your posts that has the attack rate percent in it. (Do not add up all of your percents and try to do this, you have to be patient and add each post up separately.)
What steps should I take while battling in simple terms?
1. Request a battle from a player
2. Post a thread with a creative name – ex. The firestone attack - Chelsadot vs. Dustin
3. Create the beginning post of the thread – this will obtain the information you will need to know such as how many posts long the thread will be (Excluding the first if it is only the introductory)
4. Begin your battle – Formal Reply – Gun Button – Role play your actions.
5. End when your post count reaches the limit determined in the first post.
6. Create a post in the end with the following
a. Attack + Defense / attack percent for each post - partners defense = points received
Post 1 points:
Post 2 points:
Post 3 points: (ETC)
b. Add up all of your points
Total Points:
7. Determine who has the most points
