Introduction to Advanced Roleplaying
introducing
The Crypt of The Everflame
a Pathfinder Module of Paizo Publishing
Setting:
The World of Golarion, the nation of Nirmathas, the small town of Kassen, where everyone knows everyone else.
The world is semi-medieval, with some advances, and is fantasy heavy.
Nirmathas is a nation of dominated by wilderness. (A lot of info will not be needed to participate, but is available here: pathfinder.wikia.com/wiki/Nirmathas)
Kassen, the town everyone has grown up in, and where the game start is a small village, where everyone knows everyone and which you will therefore receive some information about your tutors in, once you have decided upon your characters class.
For the curious, additional information on Nirmathas, Golarion and the Pathfinder RPG in general may be found at: paizo.com and pathfinder.wikia.com
Description
You are the only young people of your age in Kassen and the time has come for all of you to do fulfill your part in the yearly ritual before winter comes, requiring to to take on the role of the heroes of Kassen and travel to the remote grave of its founder, Kassen, deep in the surrounding forest, to retrieve the Everflame, an everburning flame, to keep light through the dark winter in the little village.
Character Creation
Okay, this gets advanced, but we'll take it step by step to make it easier.
Pick your race:
To simplify things everyone will be playing a human in this game. For non-introduction games elsewhere, multiple races will be available.
As a human you get:
(to be filled)
Pick your class:
Your class is your heroic specialization. For this game I will limit the options somewhat:
1) Cleric (priest of a deity and weilder of divine magics)
2) Fighter (warrior, who wears armor and uses weapons with great skills)
3) Rogue (a skillful character, who pypass traps and use sneak attack to grievously wound enemies)
4) Sorcerer (a mage, whose blood is infused by the powers of his/her ancestors and who knows magic initiately, through his/her bloodline)
(more classes may be made available at special request form something that will not fit any of these categories)
