Camp Half-Blood

Lucian smiled due to the fact that he was able to make her blush. For some reason accomplishing that made him happy. So happy that it wasn't funny actually. As she thanked him, he simply poked her nose lightly before she turned around. It appeared that the smaller girl was trying to peak through the windows, which made him laugh. She knew that wasn't possible as she had done it before, yet she always seemed to try.

Opening the doors to her led to both a disappointing discovery for the both of them. These were things he would normally order at dinner, and she called him on it. That made him laugh almost as much as the home fries thing did. "Well maybe we can get into a little mischief and make some?" He asked, or rather teased her.

At the same time he walked up behind her once more, but didn't really like seeing the place full. "On second thought..maybe you'd like to go hang out somewhere?" He asked, looking right down at her.

Charity was feeling so much better after getting her necklace back, that she barely noticed the crowds of people in the dinning hall, which made her less hungry. "It's kinda full in there." She said, when he mentioned making mischief. Then, it was like he read her mind when he asked her to hang out, she laughed, and replied, "Sure, I'm not really all that hungry anyway, not right now at least."

Looking around, she wondered where exactly they could go. Not that this camp wasn't large, however, she wasn't sure if they were going to head to the woods, or if they were going to hang out on camp. Curiously, her eyes wander back to him, "Where are we gonna go." She asked, full of questions that day. She reached down, pulling on her dress to remove a small wrinkle. Those of all things she hated most, random wrinkles.

If she were to choose a location to hang out at, it would be the lake that as a small distance into the woods. It wasn't the worse hike in the world, in fact she enjoyed the walking. She found the woods to be a lovely place, as well as the most calming. She began to play with her hair, waiting for a reply.

Lucian was left completely speechless when Charity said what she did. It was kind of like they were reading each others minds. Then again she knew nothing about who he really was, nor did Ethan. That kind of got to hi, but for the moment he did his bestto shrug it off. "I know exactly how you feel there" He told her, while taking a step or two back from her.

As she questioned him as to where they would go, he began to think a bit. It was either the lake, or the woods. It took him a few moments to finally pick just as he noticed her fixing her dress. This made him raise an eyebrow, but he simply laughed. "A wrinkle won't make you any less pretty" He let slip, while coughing.

Clearing his throat, looked towards the wood. "I think a nice walk in the woods will suffice" He told her, and then began to travel to the woods with her. Like this wasn't going to turn out entirely awkward, knowing Ethan would pop in at some point.

Charity couldn't help but blush again when he told her that wrinkles wouldn't make her any less pretty, in fact she could take the smile from her face. She felt rather silly, wouldn't you? If you were standing there not knowing someone very well, and they were telling you you were pretty. She didn't really talk to him much outside of the occasional hello, but then again she barely did with anyone. Again, she didn't feel at home in this camp.

The woods? She thought, it's like he is reading my mind or something. She then wondered if there was any known record of mind readers at this camp, shaking her head when she realized it was probably impossible. As she walked with him, she noticed a few things were missing in this picture. "Where is yoru friend? Isn't he normally with you? Umm... Ethan?" She had to think for a while for the name, but she got it eventually.

At the edge of the woods she looked back to her cabin, her councilor would always give her a hard time when she would go to the woods alone, but this time she at least had someone with her. As they continued on, she walked with her hands behind her back, laced. The woods was always chilly, but she was alright for now. She knew the lake would probably make her even colder, but she didn't mind. She'd swim in the lake in an instant, even in cold weather.

Lucian was pretty silent during their walk to the woods. This was up until Charity question him about his friend. She was right that he was usually with Ethan, but right now he would rather be alone. Well that was kind of a stupid thought considering he wanted to hang out with her. Then again, this day might end up being his last on the same side as any of them.

Wiping his left eye quickly, he looked at Charity from out of the corner. "Well he is usually, but I figure he's eating right about now" He told her, "but don't worry..he'll pop in anytime soon". After telling her that he simply shook his head, noticing her look back. Was she not supposed to be in the woods? While wondering this they reached a fallen log that was quite close to the lake.

Taking a moment to sit down, he just kind of looked up at her. "I must apologize for not conversing with you all these years" He apologized, while looking towards the lake. It was magnificent..and the water itself was special to him. Lucian could have lived underwater in peace, if it wasn't for his arse of a father. "So..I'm guessing you like to swim?" He asked, not really knowing anything about her.

Ethan walked out of the bathroom to see Nico still sitting there. He was shocked that Nico had actually waited for him. Ethan watched Nico's eyes follow him across the cabin. As Ethan dressed he saw Nico shift uncomfortably. Once he was dressed Ethan said, "You ready to go?"

"Yeah sure." Nico said still averting his eyes from Ethan's toned body.

"Alright lets go then." Ethan said.

As the two men walked from the cabin in the woods they talked about everything from who they think will get the next quest to the very awkward topic of women. They had a long walk and by the time they got to the dining hall almost everyone had left. He saw Lu and a girl he didn't know walk away towards the lake.

"I guess Lu didn't save me any food today." He said to Nico as the two of them went to sit at Hades' table. Once they got their food they went up to the fire as was accustomed of demigods and pushed a little of each of their food into the fire as a sacrifice to their father.

They then sat and ate while watching Lu and his friend flirt and then walk out the door. This was very uncomfortable for Nico and himself. As they finished eating Ethan turned to Nico and said, "So whats the plan for the day? Lu looks pretty busy so what should we do?"

"Well lets just follow them and join in they won't mind I'm sure of it." Nico stated. "Plus what are they really going to do?" He asked.

"I guess we can run and catch up with them." Ethan said.

With that the two men ran to catch up with Lu and his friend. "What are we doing today?" He asked Lu.

Lucian had been talking with a girl he could possibly end up liking when someone came running up. At first he thought it was going to be a quick chat type of deal, but no. It had to be the only man who could ruin this moment. Not that he didn't like spending time with Ethan, but..being his last possible day it was going to get beyond awkward.

Awkwardly, he cleared his throat and then motioned to the girl beside him. "This is Charity..and we were going to hang out, possibly swim" He put it rather bluntly, while looking further into the forest. "I suppose fours company" He mumbled, as he began to walk on ahead. Something was bothering Lucian, but he wasn't going to talk about it anytime soon.

Charity had been wandering through the woods with Lucian, and she didn't deny that she was having a good time. She listened to him talk about his friends, and how they would promptly be joining them if he didn't have any opinion that was, or she assumed. When he apologized for not talking to her, she just stood there, looking at him while he sat down. "What do you mean?" She asked, then paused..."I haven't talked to anyone really, I mean, you don't seem me hanging out with too many people." She regretted saying that she had no close friends, however many acquaintances.

She looked at the lake, walking up to it slowly, "Of course." She replied, "I love to swim." She was actually thinking about diving into the water fully clothed until Lucian's friends appeared. She was introduced, and then noticed that Lucian was acting differently from the last time he had spoken, almost colder. She worried, considering asking him what was the matter - however she refrained, for if she was upset she would want to be left alone.

She looked at the water again, her eyes began to mirror it's blue texture. It looked so lovely that day, and it was chilly, but not too chilly, almost perfect weather for swimming. At least that is what her opinion stated. She sat down on the log that Lucian and stood up from, and watched the ripples in the water rise and fall. In the company of more than one person sometimes made her feel uncomfortable, but she would have o get use to it since she was starting to let Lucian grow on her.

"Alright then I get what your trying to say. I guess Nico and I will go sit in our cabin and wither away to nothing." Ethan said loudly enough for everyone to hear. Then he walked up closer to Lucian and whispered to him. "Hey dude be careful....she is a kid of Zeus. Ya know lightning and water don't mix." He said jokingly. With that the two sons of Hades walked off back towards the arena for a little practice in the sword play area. Not that either of them really needed it. They just used this as something to waste time until something interesting happened.

They continued fighting until they got tired and until they were ready to go back to the cabin and get changed for dinner. The two men walked back in silence as they were too tired to talk at the time. They showed up at the old run down cabin they called home and walked in. The black pillars of wood holding the old cabin up were not rotten or beaten up at all. Nothing in the cabin ever changed. It all stayed the same the black pillars, the black marble floor, the sleek black silk sheets that were amazingly comfortable, the pupleish black torches hanging from the wall, the purpleish black fire blazing in the fireplace, and the replica of the river Styx running through the middle of the cabin.

Ethan walked in and layed on his bed for a little bit staring at the map of the underworld that hung on the ceiling above his head. Wondering that same old question. Where is she now. She was always such a nice girl why did his father have to kill her like that? He wanted to find a reason but he didn't know how. Maybe tonight him and Nico could go out and try to get in touch with their sisters that night. Maybe he would finally get some closure.

"You OK?" Nico asked caringly.

"Yeah, just thinking of my sister." Ethan said quietly. "Do you think tonight that maybe we could try to get in touch with Bianca and Sarah?"

"Sure. What ever you want." Nico replied. This was a normal thing for the two of them. At least once a week they went off into the darkest part of the woods and tried to find their sisters. Bianca showed up one those rare occasions but as for Sarah, they had yet to reach her.

With that Ethan got in the shower to get ready for dinner.

Lucian was left beyond confused. At first he was along with Charity and talking to her. Then his friends show up and he was trying to be nice to then. Then Ethan had to go and put on his shouting act, while telling him to be careful. "Um..thanks?" He said, or rather asked as Ethan and Nico left the scene. Not being real sure what was going on, he just sort of scratched his head. It's like they thought he was going to hook up with her already.

"Uhm..sorry about that" Lucian said to Charity, as he slowly sat beside her. "I didn't expect them to show up, but it's not like they couldn't have stayed" He mumbled low, before shaking his head. Lucian's eyes gazed into Charity's for a moment, before he brushed a hair from in front of her eyes. "So hows about that swim?" He asked her.
