As the sting clung to his face, he snarled at the fleeing vampires and his sword following. "No, you horrible beasts. Come back," he yelled, running after the quick beasts. He needed his sword, and he wouldn't let some evil monsters take his equipment. He couldn't handle that. Chasing after his sword, he had to have his blade back. As he ran after them, he could feel that he was rushing into a dumb plan and a quick death, but he couldn't care. He needed his sword, for it was life to him, and he would never let some vampiress take his well being from him.

"No way!" Charity denied, as she pulled the sword back, "I plan to put this to good use." She smiled, "Besides, he has no real intention of hurting me. Besides, I have seen the future. No harm is coming our way." She looked at the sword, seeing her reflection in it. "Father is away on business. I wish to go out!" She looked up, rather annoyed, "I don't understand why we are basically hiding... Half of the vampires are starving..." She looked like she would cry, knowing her vampires were starving due to the absence of her father.

"Don't talk back to me, dear. Your mind is being clouded by hunger." She grabbed the sword's handle, looking at her daughter. Being stronger than her, she yanked the sword out of Charity's grasp. "Now. There are blood supplies in the kitchen, remember?" Grasping onto the handle tightly as she held it up to look at her reflection too, while looking at her daughter.

Charity responded with a very simple saying, that most teenagers do in times like this, only she was beyond teenager..."I'm not hungry." She stated coldly, as she turned and ventured through the hall to one of the windows that were covered in glass that does not allow light to come in. She looked out it, trying to see if anyone was coming, and just as she thought. No one was. She signed, turning around and heading to a sitting room to relax.

Alanna moved to her room, placing the sword in the closet. She sighed and rested on the bed, looking at the ceiling.

As soon as the felt it was clear, Charity scampered out of the couch, and up stairs to the roof. The roof was blocked off by a ton of wood by her father when he left, however that never stopped her before as she ripped them up quietly. Squeezing through, she sat on the roof of their castle like home, watching for humans. Lucky for her, it was not morning. "I want that sword back."

As he closed in on the feeling of coldness and death, he knew he was coming close to the vampires home. It looked like some sort of blackened city, but he could feel the emptiness, and knew he was already in too far to turn back. "Nasty beasts," he whispered, "I understand not how you are able to live in these conditions. I would almost lament for you, if you didn't treat my people so."

Charity's head perked up, her nose could smell something in the distance. "My prey." She smiled, with a less devious look to it this time and scampered over the roof, following the smell. She would try to get behind him, so he would not notice her as much. However plans rarely go her way. She traveled quickly, appearing at a tree he was about to pass, "Are you lost." She asked, her eyes lowered to the ground as she crossed her arms.

His eyes jumped to the vampire. "Evil beast. I want my blade back. Deliver it to me post haste, so that I may leave this horrid place. It sickens me," he said, grimacing at her. His knife was out and ready to slice flesh, and he was steeled for a battle. She was smiling, and it made him feel strangely warm. It was a nice feeling, but he shook it off. "Demon, I feel your tricks on me. End this, and fight me," he said, entering a position to fight from.

Charity yawned, moving her hand to her mouth as she hid her fangs. "I am in no mood to fight you human. I am simply warning you that if you go any further you are going to hit a slue of bear traps that are well hidden. Guards, and even some other secret traps." She laughed, "Unless you are into that kind of thing." She then shook her head, as he demanded his sword, "Sadly, I do not have your sword, my mother took it." She scowled, remembering her mother scolding her.
