Kei shook his head as Soren grabbed the pipe and attempted to joke, "Right about now Soren I need to vent. It has been hell on me, I don't know what you have been doing while you were in here. But I do imagine it is hard to deal with memory loss. On the other hand I have lost so much and even the one person I found can't even acknowledge he knows me. We shared the bond of brothers." With a sigh he continued, "I am sorry that none of this makes sense to you and I am sorry I took my frustrations out on you."
Straightening up off the wall Kei walks over to the computer terminal and with a few key strokes pulls up the T - Virus file. With a few more key strokes he pulled up the presentation of the T _ Virus fixing genetic coding, "I don't know much, but I do enough. The T - Virus started out as cure for disease that cause degeneration of tissue cells. In essence people who were sick and couldn't walk were given a does of the virus followed by doses of the vaccine to to keep the Virus in check. But they could walk again. I don't know much else after that it was all pretty hush hush stuff and even their own computers don't contain much other than the fact that they started experimenting with it."
Walking back from the computer terminal Kei looked at Soren and shook his head, "About your memories I can't fix them or bring them back, but I can tell you about yourself and our bond." He settles back into the wall and slides down into a sitting position.

Soren just stared at what he soon found out to be someone like a brother to him. For some reason he felt like he could actually trust what this guy was saying, but he really didn't know what to say back. "Well I can understand your frustration, being stuck with the only person you remember..but who knows nothing" He said, basically repeating what Kei had said to him.
As he walked over to the computer and began explaining the T-Virus, Soren's eyes and ears were locked on as if he were a leech. It seemed like everything he was being told made entire sense. "So..a Virus that was introduced as a Cure started this whole end of the world scenario" He mused, while looking at the door. It was being banged on hard, by something rather huge. The sounds it made were pretty bone chilling.
"I would love to stay and find out about all that, honestly" He said, "but we'll both be dead if we stay in here!". Soren picked up his Shot Gun, and tossed it to Kei. At that moment he began to look around. "There's got to be another way out of here" He exclaimed.

Charity rolled over slowly under the covers of her bed, lucky for her she had managed to find a safe house. Her family specialized in making protective machinery, such as the alarm systems and special lock mechanisms for doors. She was in the office, which was the safest room in the house... no windows, and tons of locks. You see, her family use to be paranoid that someone would break in and steal all of their important papers, all of which were located in this room. Charity's room was only across the hallway from this room, making it simple for her to slide her mattress into this room. Slowly, she began to wake up, feeling exhausted from the trials of everything that has happened. Her heart felt very heavy, carrying the horrors that she had seen from her boyfriend, her family, and her friends. She looked around, slowly sitting up and running her fingers through her hair...She knew she was not going to survive if she had to do so alone...Peaking outside of the door, she saw no one...lucky for her it looked like the war had passed through her house and went elsewhere...She quietly wandered out, with caution to either side of her. She went into her room, closing the door quietly behind her as it was. Grabbing supplies that would help her wander the area and survive. It was a wonder that her parents got such a deal on the house they were living in, since it was located relatively close to the location that the T-virus was held. She was so scared, all alone, with nothing but herself at this moment. Leaving her house was not the worst of her troubles, for some reasons she was heading towards the Hive. At least Charity had enough sleep in her system to function, as she walked cautiously down the streets of Raccoon City.

Kei deftly caught the shotgun and shot up from the wall looking at the door, "Soren go to the cabinet on the other side of your hospital bed, there should be an exit there. Not much of one since it leads right into the Hive, but better than none since we can find our way out to another part of the city from there." He voice tore from his throat in a frenzy as he spoke.
Running to the other side of the office Kei reached the desk and shoved it towards the door. Just before he got it against the door the top outer corner of the door bent inward with a groan. Kicking the desk into place Kei ran into the divided room.

Soren didn't take time to wait, doing what he was told immediately. He made his way to the other side of his hospital bed, and pushed a button located conveniently under the cabinet. It slid to the side, revealing an awkwardly small crawl space. "I guess they think we're all rats" He mumbled, but decided to begin crawling through. It took him a while, but once he got deeper in he began to worry about his new friend..or brother..or whatever you're supposed to call people.
Not having the time to worry much about it, he continued on faster. Eventually he sort of fell through and right onto a desk, wincing loudly. "Ugh..talk about rib pain" He mumbled, while standing up. Soren was now in The Hive as the other male had called it, but for some reason he found it very familiar. To his surprise, Kei came down from the crawl space and entered as well. Thank god they were both safe.
"It's good that we escaped a sure massacre, but..now what?" He asked, while looking around. "It feels like I know this place" Soren remarked.

With a pistol strapped in her inner thigh, a machine gun straddled in her arms and ammo circling her upper torso, Clarisse was up for battle. The problem was, she did not expect for her to fight alone…for all of her comrades already perished away after succumbing to the lethal T virus. She was stuck in a convenience store after running away from the headquarters which was now infested with zombies and thankfully enough she was able to gather supplies at the same time. She had a backpack which she picked up from the store and there she stuffed it with all the essentials, mostly food and water which are essential for her survival.
She was walking down a hallway filled with mutilated zombies while chewing a gum, she shot down any zombies that she was able to encounter. The problem that plagued her mind at the moment was: What if she runs out of ammo? Surely enough, the hive had some weapons stored somewhere. Her face scrunched up in disgust as she shot down her comrades, who looked unrecognizable due to the changes the virus made. “Burn in hell!” She hissed to herself and shot down more, her steps echoing against the metal frames of the walls. When the zombies receded in numbers, she continued on brisk walking, heading to the exit/entrance. She needed to get out of there. Or else.

Kei smiled grimly at Soren as he best friend spoke of the Hive, "I don't know whether that should comfort me or make me weary. But regardless, fortunately for both of us I do know this place."
Walking briskly over to a slightly damaged access panel, he makes a few key strokes pulling up the schematics and damage reports. Shaking his head solemnly Kei looks over to Soren, before looking back at the panel and making a few more key strokes. Without much effort at all he broke into the Red Queen's file database and shook his head as he pulled up a file from an encrypted Umbrella channel titled 'Project Soren'. Quickly scanning the file for and indications of what had been done to the man that stood a few feet away, what he found stunned him to the core. Stifling a gasp Kei, made a few more key strokes and shut down the access panel.
Kei turns towards Soren and hides the pain he is feeling for his best friend, "Soren according to what I have found the elevators are all out of commission, so we are going to have to take the stairs fourteen flights down and go through the secondary dining hall to reach the train which will take us to a house that serves as the main front for entering and exiting the Hive. I need you to stay close."
Without saying anything else Kei makes his way over to a side door and pulls it open revealing flights upon flights of stairs. Kei looks walks over to Soren and grabs his wrist pulling him through the door and letting it close just as the wall concealing the hidden passage starts to tremble, "Move now!" Kei starts jogging down the stair with the shotgun held up in the ready position in front of him.

Staying indifferent, he watched as his so called friend made his way over to what seemed to be a computer terminal. For some reason he decided to walk over and spy on what he was looking at. All the scrolling and quick page closing seemed to confuse him, as his eyes did the swirly thing. The next thing he knew, Kei was telling him what they had to do. Apparently the whole place was locked down and they had to travel a long way to reach the actual exit, and entrance to the place.
Soren was being pulled into the area of what seemed to be a stair case before he knew it, and then everything started to rumble..or rather crumble. "Like you need to tell me that!" He said, while running right behind his friend. The stairs seemed to be never ending, but eventually things seemed to come to an end. They could see a lighted room to both the north and easy, so Soren did the only thing he could think of.
As the step behind him fell, Soren pushed Kei clear into the other room. He was holding onto the little platform in front of it, and was about to fall. Thankfully Kei saved him however, and as he was pulled up he just looked back. "Guess we have no choice" He mumbled, but couldn't shake the feeling that he was hiding from him. "So..brother-like-friend, what's your name?" He asked, while heading forward without waiting. For some odd reason, he wasn't even a tiny bit exhausted.

Kei's mind was still catching up to everything that had just transpired, he had saved Soren who had saved him. Looking at his best friend he nods, "My name is Kei and we are best friends, but hover closer to brothers." Without saying much else Kei starts concentrating on figuring out which way they need to go.
Doing a quick inspection of the area Kei realizes that by some random chance they had just barely escaped death but at the same time had also made it into the second dining hall. Upon further inspection he noticed all the bright green lights that were just a few feet above their heads and instantly realized that this was no dining room, but a storage facility for Umbrella's experiments. But that wasn't what unnerved him. As he went to look at Soren and explain the situation he noticed that the container closest to them had a dull flashing red light instead of the solid green, meaning only one thing. Without expecting much of a bright side to this situation he let his eyes wander down the container as his fears were confirmed. The containers front was shredded and mangled.
With his grim investigation finished Kei looked at Soren, "Our way out is straight through here, but we needed to move and move fast. There is no time to waste." Swing the gun up to bear in front of him, Kei runs forwards keeping the shotgun in constant motion from side to side always at the ready to fire.

As Charity drew closer to the hive, there was no activity noticeable. She worried however, about surviving long enough to actually enter the hive. She grabbed a knife from the ground as backup, in case she would run out of bullets. She checked her pockets, making sure she had enough bullets. She continued on, finally viewing the mansion that hid the entrance to the hive. Her heart was pounding, and fear began to creep over her. This was going to be her changing point, the start of a new Charity... She kicked open the doors to the mansion, guarding her view with her gun, preparing to shoot, but there was nothing but furniture.
She signed with relief, wondering how she was going to get into the Hive. That's when she noticed a door, a large door that was surrounded by lock mechanisms... She wanted to open it, but what if...So she wandered around, searching for a camera that would probably be right inside of that large door to see what her chances of survival were. When she found the terminal, she sat down and began to crack codes...trying to enter the system. With less that perfect progress, she looked around for password clues...
